Steve is a retired housing professional and Board Member of the Chorlton Community Land Trust. He is also a director of Chorlton Cohousing, a group seeking to develop cohousing for older people.
Trustee - Greater Manchester Mayors Charity
Selina Hanley is a person of lived experience of homelessness, she is a member of a housing co-op and she has the pleasure of sitting on the Greater Manchester Mayors charity as a trustee.

CEO Irwell Valley Homes
Sasha is the Chief Executive of Irwell Valley Homes, a housing association operating across Greater Manchester. She brings over 25 years’ experience as a senior housing professional working with community led housing organisations.
Greater Manchester Combined Authority
Phil Randerson brings finance and investment expertise to the steering committee. Phil works in the GMCA’s investment team, which can provide development loans to community led housing projects via the Housing Investment Fund.

Julie has lived in co-operative housing for over 25 years and played an active role in the Management Committee. She has worked in social housing for over 20 years and was part of ‘Housing Futures’ a Community Led Homes research project.

Head of Growth & Development - Irwell Valley Homes
An experienced Development Director with experience both in the public and private sector, Andrea offers detailed expertise in the public sector development process and the relationship with Homes England.

Tom is the director of the hub and brings with him 30 years’ of experience working with community groups to deliver mutual models of social housing across England and Wales.
He is also a voluntary board member and vice Chairman of the Confederation of Co-operative Housing (CCH).

GMCLH Project Officer
Rachel Summerscales is our Project Officer and has worked in the GM community sector for many years. Rachel is the first point of contact for any individuals or groups interested in finding out how to get involved in Community Led Housing and will know how the Hub can help move you plans along. Rachel is part way through building her own family home (just about at roof level after 5 years!) as part of the Laureates Place CLH scheme, so she has hands on experience of the ups and down of community led housing. Lee is a member of Homes For Change housing co-op in Manchester. He was a founder of HFC Management Committee and has been a key member for 15 years, involved in all aspects of Co-op management including finance, maintenance, business planning and dispute resolution.
