25th July 2020: 11am – Finding a site

This Forum will focus on finding a site for community led housing – including a presentation from Landsight software.

The Hub has recently bought a licence for Landsight software to help groups find and assess sites for community led housing

We will be discussing how groups found sites and the issues they face.

22nd August 2020: 11am – Community Shares

This Forum will focus on using community shares to fund community led housing – including a presentation from Jeff Scales, a hub advisor

Jeff Scales has supported multiple community organisations on their CLH projects including supporting business and financial planning, capital fundraising (loan, grant & community shares), and supporting organisations to become Registered Providers and accessing Homes England funding. He will be talking about how to use Community Shares to fund community led housing, followed by a group discussion about funding.
